Customers may notice that the STL retainers or the STL file add-on is an extra fee for certain customers. The reason that the STL option is more expensive than our standard process is because most STL files are not ready to be printed and require clean up and modification by dental techs to be printed. This can take our techs additional time and effort, which is why we charge a fee.
