Every individual product has a different lifespan due to the different habits of grinding, clenching, and overall care of the product. This is the general timeline of when a product should be replaced or reordered:
Retainers - Should be replaced once every one to two years.
Night Guards - Should be replaced once every one to two years but depending on how severe you grind or clench, you may want to replace them every six months.
Sports Guards - Should be replaced once every one to two years.
Whitening Trays - Should be replaced once every two to three years. They are very durable but due to bacteria, you may want to replace them from time to time.
